Jasper
After living overseas in Samoa for nearly 3 years, our family moved back to the States. We stayed with Alisha’s sister in Florida for a couple of months. A few days after our arrival, Alisha’s sister’s Aussie had a litter of purebred Australian Shepherd pups. We were smitten. Shortly thereafter, we moved to Grand Rapids, MI and brought a beautiful red merle baby girl home with us.
Maile (my-lay) has been a part of our family ever since.
Maile is one of the smartest and most athletic dogs we have ever known. She comes from a line of champion frisbee catchers and is the highest jumper we’ve ever seen. She is kind and gentle and loves everyone she meets. She is also very beautiful. Her red merle coat and heterochromatic eyes are loved by all who see her. One of her eyes is even split into two colors, brown and blue.
We knew her amazing traits should be carried on through having a litter of her own.
We decided we wanted to breed Maile with an AKC certified Standard Poodle for a variety of reasons. Like Aussies, poodles are extremely intelligent and loving. They also have the added benefit of being hypoallergenic and non-shedding. We felt having aussiedoodle puppies would give more families the opportunity to bring an amazing, loving pup into their home without the worry of allergies.
After much searching, we came to meet Jasper and it was love at first sight, for us and for Maile.
Jasper is an AKC certified standard poodle. He has beautiful, rare apricot coloring with a few patches of white on his chest and paws.
